

The Women in Global Health (WGH) Korea Chapter aims to advance gender equity in global health leadership and foster a supportive community for professionals in health related field in Korea engaged in the global health sector. As a part of the broader Women in Global Health movement, our chapter seeks to build a network of professionals, academics, and aspiring leaders dedicated to elevating women’s voices and driving positive change in health systems in Korea and worldwide.

OBJECTIVES
We envision a global health community where women are equally represented, valued, and empowered to lead in the health-related field. We aim to support Korean women pursuing careers in health, science, global and public health, and medicine, champion gender equity, and promote leadership. Our mission is to advocate for women’s health and their career development, empower women leaders, and enhance their visibility. By connecting professionals and allies, we strive to create a platform for dialogue, mentorship, and collaboration to build a more inclusive global health landscape.
